The Charles N. Curtis program exists to provide young people with the foundations which will lead them to success in their adult years. Volunteer adults from all walks in life mentor youth, teach skills and build responsibility, character and citizenship.

One of the most important ways we do this is through service projects. We average 50-60 service projects per year. A service project may be only a few hours or may extend over several days and give back to the community that makes this program possible. Projects are a learning experience, provide many diverse opportunities for leadership and provide program awareness through exposure to the community.

For nearly one hundred years Sea Scout Ship 110 has been training Tacoma area youth to be responsible, participating  leaders in their community.
